Calendar - Custom Participants

Version: Tiki version: 9.0

I've been setting up a company intranet and have two calendars we need to use. One calendar is visible to all, but the other is for management only (tracking vacations, customer meetings, etc.).

I have been beating my head on my desk trying to figure out how to use the "Custom Participants" feature (assuming that this does what I think it does).

What I want is to assign the calendar "Manager" to be only visible to managers. I have a "manager" group set-up or I can set permissions on a per-person basis.. doesn't matter, but I just can't figure this out.

Anyone? Any suggestions would be VERY helpful!

Thanks,
Reggie

Does ANYONE have a suggestion on how to do this?

I don't have much experience with Calendars, but..

From the Docs on Calendar (http://doc.tiki.org/Calendar)

"The Event Calendars which show user created information such as events or appointments, and requires the permission tiki_p_view_calendar. Different calendars can be created, with distinct permissions for each."

Have you tried this?

Also, you could try Calendar Plugin and insert the calendar into a wiki page and set view permissions for the page to only your target group.
