Actually there is already some basic documentation on the sitemap facility (which is available from 9.2 onwards) under http://doc.tiki.org/Search+engine+optimization

I updated this a little bit today since the fully automated approach does not seem to work with Google - more thought needed here - any/all suggestions very welcome !!
