RSS feed - editing?

Our site has a rss feed from google news that has worked well for our subject material. Recently, an inappropriate news item appeared in the feed (offensive to our readers). Is there a way I can remove that specific article from appearing in the feed?
Thanks

If you want to delete the specific article, Tiki stores each separate RSS feed article in the tiki_rss_items table. Use phpmyadmin to browse that table and then delete the row for that article.

I don't know how permanent that will be though, it might be reloaded the next time the Admin -> "External Feeds" entry for your Google News feed refreshes. And then you would have to delete it again.

There are not any filter options for external feeds, that I can find.

You might consider doing Google News search and then saving the search as your RSS feed. You can include multiple terms using "and" and remove specific terms by prefixing them with "-" as in "-ipad" to remove articles about ipads.

After you enter your search terms, the RSS feed icon at the bottom of the Google News page will be for the search you entered. You can check that by hovering over the RSS icon and seeing your search terms.

But if you use the Google News search generated feed, you might miss something that you didn't include in your original search.

Thanks so much for your very helpful and informative response! We're still not sure why the post appears as our search words don't appear anywhere in the article, but knowing where to edit will give us the tools needed!
Thanks again!
