Blogs RSS feeds

Hi,

I used blogs in TikiWiki. In this part, the WYSIWYG editor inserts Wiki syntax. When using TikiWiki, the formatting is ok. But the wiki syntax is rendered in a Blog reader instead of HTML, which makes the feed not very friendly to read.

Why not use pure HTML for blogs instead using HTMLArea as WYSIWYG editor ?

By the way, the RSS feed for this forum gives an error.

Thanks,

Damien

Hi

Security Concerns about HTML i guess. Also its so that we can use WikiWords and have a standard editor and format across all sections. I'm not sure about the RSS output, I'll try enabling that on my tiki blog site. I'll see what I can do to fix.

I took Gongo's blog (hosted on this site) as a feed in my reader and the wiki formatting cannot be rendered.
Is there a way to having a nice formatting outside of TikiWiki (for articles, blogs, FAQS, ...) ?

Answering part of my blog post... 😛

For the HTML in blogs, there is a "use wysiwyg editor" option in the upper left when posting... This switches to the HTMLArea toolbar. However, not all HTMLArea options are supported in tikiwiki blogs (indents, superscript, ...).
