    I've just transfered tikiwiki 1.8 through ftp to my webhotel. given the folders 777 permission. uploaded the SQL tabels with phpmyadmin. But when I enter http://www.tufla.net/tiki/tiki-index.php to install it, it says this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_start() in /customers/tufla.net/tufla.net/httpd.www/tiki/tiki-setup_base.php on line 46

    CAn someone help me? I'm not able to configure tikiwiki 😑

    Hi!

    Sounds like your session.save path is probably pointing to somewhere which you cant write to. You can always check the bottom of InstallTikiUnderSafeMode where it talks about ini_set lines.

    Other thing to check is the temp folder is writable.
