    In order to include images in an RSS feed, I believe you must use the enclosure tag. It appears that your feed (http://thepatriotwoodworker.com/rss/gallery/Question)  simply wraps the image (inside the description) with a CDATA tag. You'll need to change your feed to use the enclosure element instead. See the RSS specQuestion for details.
