Hi,

For the logo modifiy the header.tpl file
Below the head tag insert your code to link to the image.
I have removed the < > from the code below as it would get striped out.
link rel='shortcut icon' type='image/x-icon' href='../images/favicon.ico'
I believe the image must be named "favicon.ico" and must be a certain size. 16x16 I think?

For the translations I do not know but this page may help.
