    Hi all,

    I’m getting the following error when trying to access my site:

    Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty Compiler: Syntax error in template "c2c14a05d51d4c1a22b0e94aed41a3daa84f6014" on line 1 "{if $page eq "Equities_Reference_Glossary_AE"" - Unexpected """, expected one of: "}"

    Hi,
    you have an extra double quote (") in "Equities_Reference_Glossary_AE"".

    Hey, thank you for getting back to me.

    That's correct, the string wasn't complete. I was in the middle of writing the custom HTML when I got distracted; when I returned to my desk, I had forgotten that I was doing this and closed the Look and Feel page... doing this appears to have written the incomplete custom HTML to the database.

    I did find the entry in the wiki_preferences table and have since deleted it, but, deleting the incomplete HTML from the wiki_preferences table hasn't resolved the issue.

    Right, you need to clear the cached template file, try to go to tiki-admin_system.php?do=all at your site...

    You can also delete the file manually if you find it in templates_c/ dir.

    Or try the command line: php console.php cache:clear

    Hey Luciash,

    Many thanks for offering some advice. I've tried (manually) clearing the templates cache and then restarting the XAMPP services but, unfortunately, I am still seeing the same message as before, i.e., this one:

    I know that it was 5 years ago, but for those who will be interested, I had the same problem and I've resolved it like this:
    after deleted all the files from the templates_c/ directrory, I have deleted the cache from cache/ directory (in temp/ dir) manually (by deleting the files).
