Creating New Pages

Greetings all--

I've created a content template and now would like to create a new page using the content template. Could someone direct me as to the best way to create a new page which takes advantage of the content template?

Thanks very much.

There are a good handful of ways to create wiki pages:

tiki-editpage.php?page=YourPageName in the address bar

Or by adding the Quick Edit a Wiki page module
or just typeing a WikiWord or ((anyword)) on an existing page.

Once you there, you can choose the template from the wiki editing page .

Personally my favourite method is making the Quick Edit a wiki page module visible to those groups that can edit the wiki page.

Thats done through the use of admin->modules and also disabling the show to all checkbox on admin->general.

I'll give more details on that here, if you get stuck, but there should be good docs either here on tw.o or on http://doc.tikiwiki.org

Hey, did you know we have training videos now on http://edu.tikiwiki.org 😛!

Hi DamianI agree, the Quick Edit method would be hard to improve onI've enabled it to be visible only to me which gives me another much-needed feeling of being all-powerful. I'll check out the videos. Thanks Again.
