Breadcrumb module

There is a breadcrumb module in 1.8.x that calims to display the last n pages a user has visited. It doesn't work.

What can I do to make it work? Code, settings, ??? Any idea for a starting point?

Cheers,

Liz

So it is!

I wonder why mine is busted then?! I have a 1.8.1 installation, and a 1.8.3cvs installation. neither works.

Hm....

Thanks for letting me know it is supposed to work. 😀

It is cookie based I believe, and was the first time I ever set the module to show in either column. Lets hope a breadcrumb guru will find the thread and post more 😊

I found it!!! 😀

I looked into the code. I can't explain the WHY behind this, but the answer is in the "featured links" feature in the admin settings. The template only draws if "featured links" is enabled. So I enabled it and it works.

I didn't realize this dependancy existed until I looked at the code.

Thanks for the thoughts. I figured cookies too at first, but then it still didn't draw (not even the box) after going full-on cookies.

Cheers,

Liz

Sorry, the 1.7 fix wasn't ported to HEAD. Done for 1.8.3.
