Different home pages for each group

Hi,
I'm trying to set up 3 different home pages for 3 groups - Anonymous, Registered and Subscriber.
Anonymous and Registered work OK, but not Subscriber, which takes me to the Registered home page and not the Subscriber one. Yet if I paste in https://tim-thornton.com/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=Home-Subscriber it takes me to the subscriber page (if logged in as a subscriber)
I've tried this with Subscriber both inheriting from Registered (my preference) and not, wih no difference in behaviour.
Any suggestions?

I had this problem once (long ago).

You need to understand that ALL of your user (aside anonymous) are part of the register group. In your case I would use 4 groups; Anon, Registered, Non-suscribers and Subscribers.

Then you will have less troubles to compartiment.

Also with time I stopped to use the group homepage option (that require different pages) to use the plugin group (same page different content).

Hope this helps to solve your case

Hi Bernard,
Thanks for that. As I also had problems with Tiki going to the wrong URL on logging out, I took your suggestion to switch to the GROUPS plug-in, which fixed it.

One thing I noticed with the plugin is that the ELSE parameter must be in upper case. How do I get that documented and/or feed it in to the developers?

Hi Tim,
you can improve the documentation by editing the wiki page here: https://doc.tiki.org/PluginGroup

Cheers,
luci
