    Hello,

    I am currently using a VM to test ApacheDS LDAP connection through Tikiwiki.


    I can bind the LDAP server and connect with the user I created in ApacheDS.

    The only thing that is missing is the group synchronization between ApacheDS and Tikiwiki, I mean when I connect with the user named "seb" who is member of the group named "membres", I would like the group "membres" to be created on Tikiwiki as well (but this doesn't work)

    I have tried to set up the group as a "groupOfNames" and then created a new group as a "groupOfUniqueNames" to compare but nothing changed.

    Ok guys, I just found that if I create my group under the ou=users, then the group is created on Tikiwiki as expected.

    Problem is :

    My Base DN is : ou=users,dc=example,dc=com
    If I change it to : dc=example,dc=com Bind doesn't work

    My next questions are :

    - Should I change the Base DN to dc=example,dc=com ?
    - If I do so, will it find the users under an ou=users ?
    will it find the groups under an ou=groups ?
    - Or will I keep have to create only one ou for users and groups ?
