What is the Markdown syntax for LaTeX equations
Greetings,
What is the Tiki Wiki/CommonMark Markdown plugin syntax for using LaTeX/KaTeX to write equations? I've installed mathjax using composer and enabled the equations plugin. I've tried the following syntax options and none these options get converted into a good looking equation or variables with subscripts.
{MARKDOWN()}
$I_d$
I~d~
This text is {TAG(tag=>sub)}sub{TAG} script
28th
2^8^
I_d
{MARKDOWN}
Note that the underscore isn't appearing in the test for $I_d$ and I_d in the code above.
The standard Tiki Wiki syntax works as shown at the bottom but not within the Markdown plugin
I{SUB()}text{SUB}
{EQUATION()}$$I_d=10 V_{GS}^2 \frac{1}{2}\mu$${EQUATION}
I would like to use LaTeX/KaTeX syntax for equations in my Tiki Wiki Markdown blogs using the following syntax, for example. How do I configure Tiki Wiki 21.4 and the Markdown plug to achieve this?
$I_d=\frac{1}{2}\mu_n C_{ox} (\frac{W}{L})V_{eff}^2$
If LaTeX/KaTeX syntax isn't available yet, what is the syntax to create subscripts and superscripts within the Markdown plugin?
Tiki Wiki sub example shown here.
