Can´t delete items after upgrade

Hi,

after having upgraded my tiki from 1.8.2 to 1.8.3 on Windows 2000 Server, i can´t delete items anymore e.g. when i create some new users, i can´t delete them, because when I want to confirm tiki shows me that "the page was not found". I have the same problem with articles, blogs etc. Everything else is still running ok.

Now I´m not sure if my upgrading was successfully, because my version is still shown as 1.8.2. I have unpacked the files and copied them over my old tiki files. Then i changed the "tiki-install.php" and "tiki-setup.php" in order to point to the right directory.

So where is the problem? What´s with the setup.sh (Linux only?)?

greetings

I have the exact same problem here. Also running IIS on Windows 2000...

...I see the problem too:
tiki-admin_menu_options.php/menuId=43&offset=0&sort_mode=position_asc&remove=160 is the url that fails when clicking the confirm button.

..there's a / instead of a ? after .php for the querystring. I haven't been able to figure out what files to alter to correct this though.

Didn't figure it out, I got the CGI timeout bug after I upgraded from 8.2 to 8.3 so I couldn't even log in to try anything out... I had already done the IIS workarounds suggested though.

...had to purge the database to get 8.3 logins to work again, and with that all the content (not much so far). When I did this db purge I got a lot of more options in the wiki too, the upgrade became noticeable which it really wasn't before. Hen.

Alas, most stuff seems to work now, gonna try to figure out how to get rid of the icons above pages, the printer, the (cached) and other ugly stuff 😊

...also, I edited the articles stylesheet to get borders around the articles so they fit in with the rest of the stuff, I suggest they do that to this site too as the borderless news posts look rather off 😉

Got a similar problem,
after updating from 1.7 to 1.8.3, on a sourceforge hosted web site, when deleting an image it issues a page not found error even if it successfully remove the selected image
