    • Category or Topics?

    Posted by costra

    Sorry for stupid question but actually I missed in Tikiwiki. I want to use Tikiwiki like classic webmag. Many articles in categories and the newest ones on main page. Need I category or topics? Both? What is different between them?

    Thanks...

    Probably a mix of both.

    Topics to display articles groupd by topic on the main page, and categories to link all the site content together.

    How do we group articles by category on main page...
    💡Oh I know that one

    Copy to clipboard
    If...
TopicId = 1 = first topic
TopicId = 2 = 2nd topic
TopicId = 3 = 3rd topic

then include wiki...

!Topic 1 Heading
{ARTICLES(max=>3 topicId=1}
!Topic2 Heading
{ARTICLES(max=>3 topicId=2}
!Topic 3 Heading
{ARTICLES(max=>3 topicId=3}
