Menu Items/Java/Help

I recently installed TikiWiki, and I have spent days trying to figure out why my main menus items don't drop down - like they do here..when you click on the text here it drops down a submenu. My menu just goes to the page. You can only see the submenu when you click on the '+' sign. How can I change it so the text will also drop down the submenu?

I am not sure if that's correct. I think that the standard behaviour of clicking on a menu section (not item) is to forward you to the underlying link and not to open the submenu. It doesn't happen in my own Tiki and I don't see it happening here neither? Or are you referring to PHPLayers menu's?

Regards,

Pat.

Hello Pat, Thank you for your reply! I am not quite sure what's what- but...

In the upper left module on TikiWiki.org, there is a module called TikiWik, under it lists:

Download
Documentation
+About TikiWiki
+Tiki First steps
+Tiki Dev TikiWiki Demo
+Tiki Community
+Community
+Tiki Support Forums

When I click on '+About TikiWiki ' (not only the graphic '+' sign, but the accompanying text,) a 'submenu' drops down listing these links:

Tiki Features
Why use Tiki?
International
Partners
Tiki @ Freshmeat
Tiki @ Sourceforge
Friendly Hosts

On the tiki site I recently set up, when you click on the '+' the submenu drops down, however it does not drop down if you click on the accompanying text...how do I make the submenu drop when you click on the text like it does here?

Thanx!

B
