Including content from elsewehere, iframe, ilayer, SSI

I was unable to figure out why the inline frame feature of tiki isn't doing anything similar to what I might expect. So, I thought, if html could be used, would it not be possible to use either Server Side Includes, an iframe tag, or an ilayer tag? The ilayer is the tag that Netscape will recognize from the documentation I've read. Non-IE browsers don't recognize the iframe tag, I don't think.
What would be the best way to do this?
Perhaps it's even with a different feature that I was reading somewhere under dynamic content that lets one place a web page or any content anywhere on the screen. That would be good... keeping all the content together in the community.
Thanks,
Bruce

I'm not sure what you mean by inline frame; do you mean a window within a page that displays another page? Iframes seem to be pretty well supported now, with all the major browsers recognizing them. This method is already used in Tiki for the Chat feature and as an option for viewing linked pages, etc. Currently in a wiki page you have to allow HTML to insert an iframe (inputting the code yourself); seems like a good candidate for a wiki plug-in.
