Help with migrating image galleries to file gallery
Mm... I'm not sure that changing the timeout value to a bigger one will help.
I have done similar "surgical operation" for other Tiki upgrades.

I think I found a solution. I have done this successfully on a staging site.
This is for anyone with a similar problem.
In phpmyadmin.
I made a copy of the table tiki-galleries
Then I emptied tik-galleries
Then copied just a few rows from backup into tiki-galleries.
Click on the 'Migrate images to File Gallery' button.
Then empty tiki-galleries again and copy next number of rows across. Repeat until finished.
Did some experimenting and found the max that could be moved at one time is about 1000 images. For me that mean copying about 10 rows at a time. I have 1700 galleries.
So while this method takes some time, doing it bit by bit works.
Looking forward to finally being able to update software after years of being slack!
