Extended Security Maintenance for Tiki Versions

What is Extended Security Maintenance?

The Tiki Community maintains an official Lifecycle policy for all software versions. According to this policy, every version eventually reaches its "End-of-Life (EOL)" and no longer receives free security updates from the community.

Extended Security Maintenance (ESM) is a paid commercial service designed for organizations that cannot upgrade to a modern, supported version immediately after their current version reaches its EOL.

This service provides critical security patches for a limited time, offering a secure bridge while you plan and execute your site's upgrade.

Who is this service for?

Your organization may need ESM if you:

  • Have strict security or compliance requirements.
  • Need more time to plan, budget, or test your upgrade to a newer Tiki version.
  • Are running an EOL version and require professional support to keep your site secure.
