InterTiki dogfood
InterTiki is set up on tiki.org and most subdomains, (doc.tiki.org, dev.tiki.org, themes.tiki.org, etc.). This is dogfood and this page describes the set up and how to use.
This permits to login on a sub-domain and credentials are checked against tiki.org
Consequence: If tiki.org is down, logins are not permitted from other sites.
Exception: the admin user doesn't use InterTiki.
Groups and permissions:
- Upon login from a subdomain, the group membership (and some user information?) are copied over.
- Permissions are distinct for each subdomain.
Example of how to provide full permissions (tiki_p_admin) to doc.tiki.org?
- On tiki.org, add user to DocAdmins group
- User must log out and log back in to doc.tiki.org
About deleting users:
- Deleting accounts requires to delete on each subdomain. Ex.: https://tiki.org/How-to-deal-with-spam
