I would be nice a simple interface once the student logs in, such as the one shown at Claroline/Dokeos. It could have:
- Agenda (Calendar)
- News (blogs?, Articles?)
- Documents (teacher docs)
- Group works (including wiki page, forum, file gal, image gal per group).
- Links (Directory)
- Chat
- Messaging (Tiki messaging, or E-mail messaging)
- Audio or video conferencing (:-)
- Surveys
- Exercises (Homework, Quizzes, Tracker for the teachers using it for this purpose, etc.)
- Help (FAQ's, wiki pages, or whatever for help info: forums, ...).
