How to add new wiki page?

After meddling with the new installation for close to two hours, I really feel like an idiot and decided to resolve to post this question here: how do I add new wiki pages?

I'm so new to this wiki idea, so forgive me if this question is stupid. So somebody please help....!

Ok, confirmed I'm an idiot, I should have looked at the user manual before I asked. New pages are to be created from within existing pages. Cool...

Hi deanloh
The Quick Edit module is also a nice way to quickly add page.
Enter a wiki page name and press enter of select the go button:

  • If the wiki page name already exists you will be taken to that page in the wiki editor
  • If the wiki page does not exist you will be taken to wiki editor with a blank new page named after the text you entered.

Also you can assign to this module to only the admin group if you want to limit access to this function

Have fun!

Hi!

Several quick questions:

I found this page, but the thread does not include the original post. How do I find the original post that you are responding to? How come they do not include in the route path, the link of the original thread?

What is the "Quick Edit Module" that you are talking about? And where do I find that in the Wiki section? Shouldn't there be an equivalent of a "Submit article" section in the Wiki section?
