    I just finished installed a tiki. The problem I am having is the email which is suppose to be sent to me upon registration never arrives. So no validation takes place.

    Is there someplace where I need to setup the mail settings?

    Hi,

    Check that your webserver can send emails using the PHP mail command. Some shared hosting environments dont let you, also if your on WIndows you need the SMTP service.

    Also worth checking on Admin->General you have completed a senders email address. Some setup's do require this to also be a valid email address.
