Yes, it's possible.
Search the documentation (doc.tw.o) or here at tw.o for pages about managing menus and modules containing a menu.
Then add an entry for user preferences wherever you want (preexisting menu+module, or new one menu+module).

Ooops, sorry, re-reading your question, maybe I didn't understand you well ewnough before, so taht my answer may not answer your real question.

It the link is fixed for a specific user, the menu option can be easily created as explained before.

If what you pursue a dinamic link to each user's page, viewed by each user, but with a sinlge new option in a common menu for all of them, then my answer is I don't know.rolleyes
(and I'm also interested in knowing if this is possible or not smile )

Cheers,

hi

i am looking for a way to link to the users own userpage.
so for user xyz the link would point to /tiki-index.php?page=UserPsgeXyz
and for anotheruser it would point to /tiki-index.php?page=UserPsgeanotheruser.

just like it is on the user preferences site. there is a link to the users ))UserPage((.

but is there a way to put that in a menu ?
maybe i have to write a bit of smarty code ?

thank you,
bacca

You can do a user module that contains
[tiki-index.php?page=UserPage{$user}|{$user}]
(the module must be wiki parsed)
But I don't know you to put this on a menu
