Dynamic Content WARNING

😑😑😑😑

Unless I am unique in this, and I doubt it. I would think there should be a strong warning about the use of dyanmic content. I have crashed my app twice now in two different cases.

In the first I tried to put dynamic content in my site feature top banner area, since my banners don't work at all in 1.9.2 (BTW).

The second time I used dynamic content in a module and assigned it to the right side.

The module issue, was, luckily easy enough to fix. I removed the mod from my database.

But, this warning should be high in the documentation, I think.

I would not want to see the abilities of dynamic content be lost.

Especially since I am using the r option to mimic the banner feature that is not showing anything.

btw the r option does not work in an article. The article crashes.

btw - the dynamic data I used to make the module is the google adsense search code. This is the exact same code I used in v1.8x and worked, so go figure

Continuing the talk to myself:

I was able to get some additional dynamic information in my site. The dynamic content I wanted in was a better version of Google search.

I tried to load it in a module below what I created using the dynamic content to replace the banners, which continue not to work.

I added it as an additional content block to my banners block. Now it is coming up randomly. Not the best, but it does work for now.

It seems that I was unable to load two modules that I created with dynamic content beneath each other on the right side. I probably cannot run two such dynamic content blocks together anyway. I think that is why when I added dynamic content with the r option to an article it all crashed.

You aren't the only one talking to himself here...

I crashed my server pretty much using an RSS feed that didn't exist...oops. I also am not real clear on how to make content available to everyone, as only admins on my system get it and I don't want to give admin privs to registered users...
