    • Weird Error -- How can I fix it?

    Posted by quinnurkey

This may sound kind of weird, but every morning when I wake up and try to access my website, I get the following message:

    TikiWiki is not properly setup:

Unable to connect to the database !
Go here to begin the installation processQuestion, if you haven't done so already.

    Too many connections

Later on in the day, my website is working fine! What is wrong, and how can I fix it?

    Thank you very much,
    Quinn Spicker

This isn't a tikiwiki issue, but a mysql (if you're using that)
Increase the amount of connections allowed, or check who has all those connections open.

    Thanks Bart,

I guess I will have to contact my web hoster!
