I have the Blog feature turned on, and unregistered users have the right to see the blogs. I'm using tikiwiki 1.9.3. How can I hoose Blog as my home page? Thank you

I've tried the full URL, a partial one as your example suggests and even unchecked "Use URL" and at "Home Page" chosen the blog from the drop down list. All that seems to happen is that Tiki creates a new, blank wiki page with the name of my blog but it won't go to the blog itself when you come in on the site's URL. Under Admin/Wiki there's another place to choose a home page and I've tried entering the name of the blog, the full URL and the partial and I get new, blank pages again. Not sure where to go from here. Seems like it's forcing itself to wiki rather than Blog. Should I turn off Wiki in the features section? This sounds like I'd cutoff the rest of the Wiki. Anyway, any ideas would be helpful.

Since the trouble could be related to the initial installation, and since there've been a couple of important Tiki releases since 1.9.3, I'd suggest upgrading to the latest version, making sure the installation is complete, and then try setting the blog as home page again. -- Gary
Posted by George Greene 21 Nov 2006 20:27 GMT-0000 posts: 257 Thanks Gary, I was messing with the blog heading by trying to add an HTML image source tag and that's when problems seemed to happoen. I looked at the heading stuff later and realized it was script of one sort or another so maybe I broke it. I tried to fix it but couldn't so... Anyway, on to the upgrade!
