    • No admin power

    Posted by Mudkip

When I installed my wiki, I changed the account details of the "admin" account, like the name and password. But now, I have no administrative powers under the new name and I can't login with admin/admin anymore.

Can someone help me? Is there a file I can add my name to in one of the files to get admin powers back?

I think the admin account must be named admin — you should not rename it. First, reset your admin account (see this FAQQuestion. Now, login as the admin and create a new account. Simply give it all of the admin permissions.
