PHP Problem

Hi folks,

After operating Tiki successfully for about a week and a half now, I have suddenly begun receiving the following error upon trying to access any page (forums & wiki):

PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 7C81BD02

At the time this occurred, there were two users logged in, one of whom was posting a Blog Entry and the other was adding a panel to the right-hand side of the Wiki menus (we can't recall what menu it was). After that, the error began popping up and Tiki seems completely inaccessible. Anyone know anything about this?

What do the Apache logs say?

The webserver is actually IIS, and unfortunately there don't appear to be any logs at all. *sigh*

Is there no log file for Tiki?

Is there a way to reset Tiki's GUI settings, or manually change them? Does this mean having to wipe the database?

The error has come back - "PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 7C81BD02". Does *anyone* know *anything* at all about this thing? After I initially saw it, Tiki went down for about a day, but then started working (without explanation) after that.

During the time that Tiki wasn't working, I had my ISP restore it (including the MySQL database) from a known-good day, yet it *still* would not work! Afterwards, we completely cleared the folder, then restored the site a second time, but the error persisted!! We have no explanation as to why it went down in the first place or why it "magically" started working again.

Can someone offer any advice on this???!

Well, as odd as it seems, it's now a few hours later, and Tiki is now generating the following error:

PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 7C81BD02

I just wanted to send out a brief update. My ISP tells me that since last week, when they did a PHP upgrade, they have started seeing PHP Access Violation errors on many sites that were previously working just fine. At this point, I'm hoping there's nothing wrong with Tiki and that's it's configured properly for my server (shared hosting). I'll continue to post here if I learn anything new, but I would still DEEPLY appreciated any info that anyone might be able to offer on this issue.

I can't offer any help, but a quick search shows that other CMSs have had this problem. I think it is safe to say that the issue is with your webhost — not Tiki.
