Tracker filtering/sorting query

Hi - I've not moved to 1.10 yet, so only have the Tracker features in 1.9.11, but I'm trying to understand how to do multiple sorts and filters that are accumulative. When I filter on a particular field for a particular value the 1.9.11 Trackers very nicely list the subset of records that apply - but a subsequent filter goes back to the full set of records. Is there a way to further filter the set of records from a previous filter so that a large number of records can be "drilled into" in successive layers. If not in 1.9 is this being considered for 1.10?

Thanks

OK - so I've largely answered this myself by finding and playing with the Plugin TrackerFilter - but of course all the interesting stuff is only in 1.10 !! so really, really hoping this gets out of beta soon.

However having played with this plugin I think I've found a problem with it when the filter results in a large number of records - so that it cannot display in one page. The 'usual' multi-page format is displayed, albeit within the wiki page, but when the 'next page' link at the bottom of the listing is clicked it "crashes" meaning it displays some junk in the wiki page - but is otherwise recoverable . Has anyone seen/experienced this before. Any thoughts??

Thanks - making progress though! and as always there seems to be a way with Tiki - but again really waiting for 1.10 !!
