    I'm trying to use Trackers but keep running into the following problem. I can view the database as admin but when I try to use Anom or Registered users it lists the trackers, but if you click one of them, it displays the number of records but doesn't display any data. I have tracker_view and tracker_list permissions selected and have the permission set on the Menu options. If I enable comments for the tracker, it displays a comment page with lines for each comment but with nothing else is displayed. I really need help to get the trackers working. cryThis is the only thing from getting my site up.

    • do you have any url to allow us to have a look what might be wrong?

    • which tw version are you using?

    • did you check that you don't have any conflict with permissions (you have to add all permissions needed to allow viewing the tracker items: open, pending, closed, ... and also check that there is no conflict with category permissions, if your trackers are categorized, etc.

    I'm using version 2.0. I have all the permissions turned on short of giving admin status to the user. Trackers weren't assigned any categories. I created one and still have the same problem. I'm assuming the problem has something to do with permissions as admin can see all the entries with no problems. I'm hoping it is something simple so I don't have to go into the trackers code and delete permissions from the code for viewing.

    Some things to check:

    • When you created the tracker, which statuses did you select for the Default status displayed in list mode option? Only items with that particular status will be shown (by default) when listing the tracker's items.
    • When you created the tracker, did you enable the Do not show empty fields in item view? option? If so, empty items will not be shown when listing the tracker.
    • When you created each field, did you enable the Is column visible when listing tracker items? option?
    • When you created each field, did you enable the Field is hidden? option? If so, you need to explicitly allow anonymous visitors to view the field.

    lol Finally got it working. Had to delete the original tracker and start again from scratch. Thanks for the help.
