Text overlay on images for comics
Hi, I would like to use TikiWiki to wiki-author accessible webcomics, where text paragraphs are overlaid with CSS on top of images to serve as speech bubbles.
I think this is done in HTML/CSS by embedding img and p tags in a div and then setting the position properties to relative and absolute.
Does anyone have a suggestion how this could be achieved in TikiWiki in a proper wiki fashion?
- For instance, is there a way in TikiWiki to mark individual paragraphs as belonging to a special CSS class and add some CSS layout offsets? I could then author a template that would set the position properties and add a div parent.
- Or is there maybe a way to nest plugins so that I could write a plugin which takes ready-made paragraphs and images and modifies them?
(My concern is that my non-CSS-savvy fellow artists wouldn't want to hack every panel together in code. Pure templates probably won't quite cut it, so I posted in the dev forum.)
Please throw me some starting points. Any input will be appreciated.
Many thanks in advance!
