    • Forbidden tiki-install.php

    Hi,

    I have the plan to install some tiki-wiki on different domains on same server, I have fantastico option but I disagree with _tiwi1, _tiwi2... name format, I want to use more explicit db names.

    I upload and tried to run tiki-install.php but server gives me a Forbidden error, I haven't shell access, so I think I have only two options.

    Do a full hand/ftp configuration, but I don't known where is db configuration file.

    or

    Do a fantastico instalation, thus move db to a more explicit name db, in this case also I need to known where is db configuration file.

    Any idea will be welcomed.

    You can create the database and then, with the TikiWiki files in place, go to tiki-install.php and, as you go through the install process screens, you can input the database connection information. This will create a db/local.php file that is the db configuration file.

    Thanks for your response, but server configuration gives me 403 Forbidden You don't have permission to access /tiki-install.php on this server.

    I tried to change file permissions but not working any permission configuration.

    You should probably check with your server admin/hosting company. Maybe this is due to some security setting at the server. Normally this error doesn't occur. If you find that it can be corrected by a server config adjustment, please post back to let us inform other users.
