    • Save Minor Edit does not Work !

    Hi!
    I checked this option in Admin TikiWiki 3.3, I see the buttom 'Save Minor Edit', it works saving the page but sends notifications and count as a new content !

    Am I missing something ?

    This 'Save Minor Edit' problem is an irreparable one... ? is it 3.3 bug ?
    No solution ? Am I missing something ?

    Upgrading the site with this problem make the 'Last Changes' full of stuff...!

    Hi!
    I have checked
    Admin 3.3 > Wiki > Allow minor edits.
    and also checked tiki_p_minor

    and I don't want that any minor change be reflected in "Last Changes" as happens currently...

    I searched my whole tiki 3.3, at the tiki docs, at Google, and at Rick's TikiWiki for Smarties...
    where exactly is the Watch minor edits option ?

    Disabled or enabled the "the Watch minor edits option"
    NO WAY to work with Tiki 3.3 ...

    "Last Changes" goes on reflecting any minor change I am doing at all the pages because the upgrade...

    Hi my friend... if you don't understand... please think a little about this old newbie...!

    in Wiki > Features > Wiki watch is disabled...

    in Wiki > General Preferences > Allow minor edits. is checked

    and also checked tiki_p_minor

    and you can see... the "Last Changes" on the left menu is full of changes... any orthographic minor accent correction results in a public "Change"...

    Sorry, I thought you were talking about the watch notifications. Do you mean showing changes in the mod-last_modif_pages module? If so, you can (I think) exclude minor changes from being shown by using the minor=n parameter for the module. For example:

    Copy to clipboard
    {MODULE(module=mod-last_modif_pages, minor=n) /}

    Sorry !

    I added (copy & paste) that line to
    /modules/mod-last_modif_pages.php
    at the last line...

    NOTHING ! Every minor change, clicking on "Save Minor Edit" button, is public and reflected in "Last Changes"

    I know how to ad a module... WHAT I don't know is WHAT module to create, how and where...

    Again... Tiki 3.3 LTS has NOT minor edit included ?

    I did what you said... assigned the last_modif_pages module... with no time to write nothing in parameters... after assigning simply the page returned in blank...
    AND MY SITE IS GONE ! How can I return ?

    In this post, you said that you added this line of code:

    Copy to clipboard
    {MODULE(module=mod-last_modif_pages, minor=n) /}


    into the /modules/mod-last_modif_pages.php file. You need to remove it.

    OK! Returned to the site ! But NOW !
    The MINOR EDIT appears TWICE !
    First time where ever... at the "Last Changes" Left Menu and secondly ...
    on the new CREATED MODULE "last changes"...
    ?????
    Is something like impossible to write an Encyclopedia without the save minor option from Tiki 1.9 !!!

    You need to include the parameter

    minor=n

    when you assign the module. Then be sure to clear your cache. Use only 1 module.

    The MINOR EDIT from the TikiWiki 3.3 LTS
    does not works in two places now...

    First time ... at the "Last Changes" Left Menu and secondly on the new CREATED MODULE "last changes"...

    minor=n
    does not works in any of those places, therefore I am deleting BY HAND one by one... the history of 3000 +/- pages... to maintain clean the "last changes" and not repeated each time for each orthographic minor accent correction... ( specially from the external collaborations to my Wiki Encyclopedia...)

    TikiWiki 3.3 LTS has not any solution for this problem ?
