    • /var/lib/php not found

    Hello All,

    I just uploaded the TikiWiki 3.5. version to my webhost and when i tried to install it I got this:

    Tiki Installer cannot proceed

    The directory '/var/lib/php' does not exist or PHP is not allowed to access it (check open_basedir entry in php.ini).


    How do I fix this?

    I tried:
    - finding the folder var --> doesnt exists
    - finding open_basedir or php.ini --> doesnt exist

    How can I download these files again?

    I consulted it, and now im confused about what they want me to do... I opened the file mentioned but dont understand the instructions. Do I:

    1. wipe out the contents of teh file and replace with this?
    a. if not where do i place the code?

    Go to your tiki/db directory and edit the tiki-db.php file as follows:
    // if you used the handmade way (.htaccess did not work) then
    // uncomment the following line and comment the line after it

    Q: what does the above mean?

    //require_once('/home/customers/acmecorp/public_html/php/DB.php');
    require_once('DB.php');

    Q: am i suppose to edit the above line?

    // Often MySQL is being run in another server, check your situation!
    $host_tiki ='mysql.myhost.com';
    $user_tiki = 'acme';
    $pass_tiki = 'acme1234';
    $dbs_tiki = 'acme_db';
