Disapperaing blogs

I created a site, and the blogs I created disappeared. So I started fresh with a new domain, created test blogs. Again, the blogs were working, and then today the dreaded:

"Not Found The requested URL /blog1 was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

...came back. I've used ftp to look in all of my folders for blog1. Is there a folder just for storing blogs? If so, how can I direct to that folder?

I've spent countless hours trying to figure this out. arghhh

Beside misspelling 'disappearing'...I also am adding that posts work OK (if you go through admin posts), editing the blogs works, it's only when you try to view blog. It's looking for the blog at http://domain.com/blog#

i.e., where there are no blogs.

Yep. One click and the blogs work again. I need to not be so stubborn and learn to ask for help before I get to the point of cursing the Internet, Steve Jobs, and Lady GaGa (no relation...just good target for cursing).

Thank you very much!
