Features / Usability

Important!

We installed tiki to test it in our intranet. We gave all the permissions to registered and none to basic users. Then we wanted that the groups that are not allowed to use some module, do not see it in the menu and not that they see it but if they click tiki says to them that they are not allowed. We found an option in general feature that sounds something like "Hide module to groups".
Now we do not see anymore the login box and we are not able to see anything...
How can we log in and change this option?

Thanks in advance. Luke

lucaweb,

On future posts can you structure your post title better?

point your browser to tiki-login_scr.php and logon then point to tiki-admin.php and make sure that all modules have groups assigned to them

Damian

You're right.
Thank you very much for your answer.

Luke

😎 i had the same problem, but if you don't set the login-box to anonymous-viewing, then you can't login anymore... 😁

i think it is in the FAQ now... or isn't it?

Greetings
DevNiv

Hi DevNiv,

Yeah, if you dont set a group for the login box, you can still login by pointing your browser to http://yourdomain/tiki-login_scr.phpQuestion

likewise if you forget to set the application menu to a suitable group, you can still gain access by pointing to http://yourdomain/tiki-admin_modules.phpQuestion

Hope it helps you out, and anyone else that gets stuck in this situation!
