    • Horizontal menus

    I'm having problems trying to create horizontal menus, using menu modules with 'type=horiz'. 2 main issues. Firstly the look and feel is not great - needs better spacing and the menu options need to stand out more. Secondly, any drop-downs don't appear (and I've tried several of the supplied themes).

    What's 'best practise' for creating horizontal menus wiht Tikiwiki? The ones on this site are pretty good, how are they created?

    There's nothing special about the menus at this site - Tiki's menus should look and work fine out of the box. The appearance you're describing suggests a problem at your site. Be sure all the files are in place and that there are no JavaScript errors. Also be sure the menu is configured as a CSS/Superfish menu on the admin modules page.
