Site Not Redirecting to Mobile Version On Mobile Devices

Hi,

I activated the mobile feature on my tikiwiki, however, when I visit my site though a phone (Iphone), it's not redirecting. I added the mobile module to my site to try to force it to change, what I found out is that I have to be logged in for the mobile version to work. When I click 'switch to mobile site' without logging in, I get the following error "Mobile mode: Permission denied, please log in.".

I believe the reason mobile is not redirecting is because of the login requirement, how do I fix this, I couldn't find any answers for this in the forum.

(I'm using tiki 12.1, but I recently installed a new tiki for experiment that's running 12.2, I get the same error from both.)

Thanks!
Nitreb

Mobile is a perspective. Go to the permissions and, under "perspective", give Anonymous the "Can view the perspective (tiki_p_perspective_view)" permission.

Thanks Tom, that worked.

Hey Tom,

Everything worked on my test site, however, when I tried it on my actual website, nothing happened. I have the exact same settings for both, but when I click on 'Switch To Mobile Site', the screen refreshes but doesn't send me to the mobile version. I'm also not getting any errors as I did from before. Any idea why that might be?

Sorry, I have only used mobile on a test system also.

The documentation does not say mobile currently works with all features:
"This profile will create a minimal perspective that will allow you then to use a special home page, menus etc just for mobile. All features of Tiki (login, etc.) are expected to work well over time".

The results you are describing are what I get when I click on "Switch to mobile site" on the Mobile documentation page on doc.tiki.org page.

You can find more on how to use Perspectives on the Perspectives documentation page.
