Wiki Blasphemy

I'm sure I'll insult someone somewhere with this but;

how might I go about adding new tags to the Wiki syntax in tikiwiki??

Basically I want to add a formatting method kind-of like the ~np~ tags but leaving line-breaks in place, the plan is to use this to drop sourcecode of programs onto wiki pages so that people can collaberatively work on them and stuff.

Whereabouts is the syntax located? Could a PHP Tag editor be made? (I might have a go at this if I find the tags)

thanks for the help 😉

hey there!

Have you heard about the {CODE()} plugin?

Copy to clipboard
This is contained in a code plugin

You can see good examples of its use in the Guides on http://mods.tikiwiki.org

Er.. I'm only finding a JScript plugin there which, although very useful looking, doesn't appear to be the code plugin 😕 .

Where might I accquire a copy of this valuable piece of kit?

Its in all TikiWikis !

The Guides on that site, use it to seperate the blocks you type etc. The Howto create a style is a good example the green blocks in the wiki page is the code plugin. 😉

Click wiki help when your editing a wiki page, then click Show Plugins Help. and its all there infront of you 😀

So...
Whereabouts in the tiki-grand_scheme.php?of=things is this plugin stored / installed
and is it going to be easy to modify?

Just want to remove that annoying little niggle where it numbers the line you include the tag on, even when the tag is the only thing on that line.

Also there isn't much documentation on the syntax highlighting you mentioned, that I have found. How do I go about getting that to work (Does it require a stylesheet or some list of colours?)

Thanks,
RW

As other plugins this one should be in tiki/lib/wiki-plugins/
