Linking to other 'features' from Wiki?

Hi,

I couldn't find this information anywhere.
Is it possible to use a tag in Wiki that would point directly e.g. to a file in a specified file gallery or image in an image gallery?
Using absolute URLs doesn't seem a very convenient solution.
Similarily, it would be nice to be able to add tags like this to forums etc.

Do I miss something? 😊

Hi

I myself just use the [tiki-view_gallery.php] style linking

There are some plugins planned for accessing other content, but I've not seen them appear yet.

Damian

I'm not sure if I understand.
Could you give the exact syntax example, or, possilby, link to a website where I could see that?

Ta!

well at the moment for other site content within the wiki, forum and other areas just use the [tiki-galleries.php|goto tiki galleries|nocache] url creating method. Click Wiki help on a tiki-editpage for details on that syntax etc.

As to the plugins, Ive heard people mentioning that they are working on them, but Ive not seen anything commit to CVS.

Thanks!
It's not most convenient typing [tiki-browse_image.php?galleryId=1&imageId=1 | see image | no cache] but I can live with that.

I didn't understand at the first time, since I saw 'np' tag in email notifying about your answer, and I tried to use it directly in my tiki edit, and, as you can guess, I saw nice square brackets with content 😊

Good, at least you have a solution now. We can always work on the plugins, do you know any PHP?

Well, I did quite a lot of PHP but it was still with PHP3...
Now I don't have any time for extra projects 😑
But I'll keep my fingers crossed for TikiWiki 😊

PS. Congratulations, that was your 888-th post 😀

better make it 889 😊

Ok, in that case you'll have to be my test person for these plugins 😉
