Horizontal multi-level dropdowns Posted by SiL3NC3 23 Sep 2021 08:54 GMT-0000 posts: 23 Currently (v21_LTS) a horizontal menu can only be created with 2 levels. Why is this not working? It seems, that even the code is not being rendered. We badly need more levels with the bootstrap dropdowns.... Any hint appreciated.

Posted by Gary Cunningham-Lee 23 Sep 2021 11:03 GMT-0000 posts: 4664 I replied to another post of yours like this: "Tiki 23 has updated Smartmenus functionality, so if you are using this version, please see if this works for you. There isn't new documentation for this yet, but you can make a menu with as many levels as you want. Then on the admin modules page, specify the menu as a Bootstrap menu. Turn on Smartmenus, on tiki-admin.php?page=features, under the "Interface" tab." About the cssmenu, etc. maybe recent changes in the menu code caused problems for the menu colors. Cssmenus are going to be replaced by Bootstrap + Smartmenus so they may miss out on being tested and updated. (I noticed the cssmenu second-level and third-level, etc. text wrapping rather than being on one line, also. I'm not sure what that's caused by, but anyway, I suggest trying Bootstrap and Smartmenu type menus if you are using Tiki 23.) -- Gary
