Files Gallery: not able to reach the files in it, and get an Error 500 when upload files
Hello all,
I have installed not so long time ago Tiki v.25 (with Wikisuite), then I have updated it some days ago to the v.26.1.
My server is using Virtualmin (Wikisuite managed), under Debian 11 and I'm using PHP.8.1.
The files are stored inside a directory.
I have an issue with the Files Gallery : I'm unable to see the files that I upload in it...
When I upload a file (for example "picture.jpg") Tiki shows an "Error 500", but the file is anyway uploaded in the files directory : tikifiles/fgal_use_dir, but I can't see it or select it when I go to the files gallery through GUI (I can only see that the file was uploaded if I check the directory directly on the server).
I tried many ways to resolve this problem, as it seems it is about write/read permissions on directories...
I even have set PHP up to be able to write and read /tikifiles directory (chmod 775), but nothing is working and I'm completly stuck.
I have followed this: https://doc.tiki.org/File-and-Folder-permissions and some other solutions found on internet, but nothing is working up to now...
BTW, tiki-admin_security.php tell that /fgal_use_dir is "dangerous" because "the path to save the files of the Gallery files should be outside of Tiki directory"... I'm not sure to understand that, as /fgal_use_dir is inside /tikifiles/, which is outside of Tiki directory on my server (it is where the installer has installed it, means for me there: /home/mywebsite/tikifiles).
So, if someone could help me on this, I will be glad, as I'm stuck on this since yesterday...
