Big (as in old) upgrade

Hi all-

I figure maybe it's time to upgrade my codebase. I frankly have no idea what version I'm on, but files are dated 2013 that I got from sourceforge using SVN. Is that still done anymore? Is everything in Github? The stable.version file in doc says 10.1, which is why I thought that was the version. I had a couple of files I edited over the years, but I've lost track of which ones - I think the RSS file, but maybe that's been improved anyway in 12 years.

SO, the question is, can I make this upgrade? There used to be some sql db files for big transitions, but the last on in my files was 2.0 to 3.0. Will it mess up all of my menus or is the config basically the same?

If I can do it, thoughts on the best way to do so are appreciated. I'm backing everything up now just in case.

Thanks for the reply. I can't imagine it's 3. That's just what is in the database conversion directory (IIRC, there were some big database changes then, so if you wanted to do a big leap you had to run those files). I appreciate the offer to help. I'll look at some of the latest improvements, install instructions, etc. and then reach out if I decide to make a go of it.

Turns out it says my Tiki version is 21.0svn. That's like 2020 or so (which makes sense - I probably upgraded on a bored day in lockdown). Surprising that so many of my files are so old though. I'm doing the new directory upgrade method, so this should be a much cleaner install this time.

Thanks, will do on the next round. I got it updated OK. The only hiccup was a a bunch of deprecated errors showing up in the bundled libraries, and that screwed up setting the session cookie. I turned off error reporting in tiki_install and all worked well.

The other hiccup was the conversion to file galleries. The files all converted, but many of the wiki posts did not - the tags still pointed to the name rather than the fileId, so I am having to manually change a bunch of those. If you have an automated solution for that let me know and I'll reach out!
