    as there been any attempts on giving blogs these functionalities ? the otion to add files and images.

    what i was thinking is that this could improve tiki's functionality because users wouldnt have to move around the site so much.

    I am personally in favour of keeping stuff separated, there's so much mixing around already (I have to manually get rid of it in my tikiwiki).
    Still you could simply use HTML to add a picture to blogs?

    blogs are more of a diary, you don't need pics in them! Do you?

    sdl, a blog doesn't have to be just a diary. I should have clarified the subject a bit more, allow me to try again

    if a user wants to add an image or file to a blog page using only tiki. also, if someone is reading a blog refering to an image gallery he weill then have to go to the gallery page if the blog owner forgot to provide a direct web link.

    what i was talking about is something like you see in angelinecms ( http://www.angelinecms.org ) : the blog page has it's own image and file gallery.

    imo these are symilar functions, and if they were grouped into a single section could improve a little of tiki's usability.

    Can you possibly add these to BLogDev page here on Tikiwiki.org I adopted the blogs some time ago, in a view to opening a tikiwiki powered blogging site.

    forgive me but i dont understand what you want me to add...

    this is just an idea i've been working on. My goal is to create a website where people can form groups. each group would then have it's own group-page with articles, files and images related to their choice of subject, and the hability to mass e-mail every member of the group.

    tiki would be a good base for this, but it's far too complex for me to be able to alter it efectively.
