If you use, or plan to use, this provider, be careful with the use of Fantastico. It's great for an initial installation, but if you heed their warnings and do no manual upgrades at all, much less the major ones they warn you about, the Fantastico script will still not work, and you get NO help from their tech support. They just refer you to their paid services group, or you can fix it yourself. I guess, regardless of whether they provide real support for Fantastico or not, they should at least make sure it works with a vanilla installation. Just a word of warning. Other than that, they have a great plan and the facilities have been great.

Just an update. If you do go the Fantastico update route, the problem I had, after I worked it out without the assistance from the support folks was that three directories, which need to be emptied prior to the upgrade, were just deleted from the installation root instead of the contents being deleted. Recreating those directories along with the subdirectories, and ensuring that the permissions were set properly, the htaccess file put back, etc. fixed the problem.

I understand that they aren't totally responsible for the use, especially if you have manually modified the installation (which I had not), but there is some level of responsibility for ensuring that it at least works, isn't there?
