  1. Get amazon account
  2. Activate S3
  3. Activate EC2
  4. install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3247
  5. install http://developer.amazonwebservices.com/connect/entry.jspa?externalID=609
  6. Restart Firefox
  7. Configure account in ElasticFox
    1. Click on credentials
    2. Enter Access Key ID and Secret Access Key from your Amazon.com account
    3. You should see some AMIs appearing
  8. Go to tab "Key pairs"
    1. Click on green button to create a new pair
    2. This will generate a *.pem file, that you should save on your hard drive
  9. Go to AMIs and instances,
    1. pick ami-7806e211 (for example)
    2. Right-click and launch
    3. Make sure KeyPair is the one your created before
    4. All other options can stay the dfaults
  10. You shoud see something new in "Your instances"
  11. Be patient while it boots up
