    This happens with a Sourceforge.net hosted tikiwiki (version 1.8.4), when you follow the instructions for a SourceForgeTikiInstall.

    Thanks to the good help of Damian Parker 😎, the problem is now fixed.
    I expect that the SourceForgeTikiInstall page will be updated soon to give you all the details.
