displaying tiki syntax as syntax

😬

I'm sure this is something that's not likely to be an issue for most experienced coders but I'm creating a page which will give my users a grounding in Tiki syntax. I want to display a double-underscore to demonstrate the bold function but of course when I put it into the edit page, it simply generates the bold text instead. I've decided to use html in the page and actually tried to use the underscore special entity but tiki converted back into bold of course.

Any clues?

BTW, I've had a very interesting week with Tiki as I tried to reinstall a backup which failed. I'm waiting to hear from my host now about increasing the execution time in the php.ini file but I was really pleased when I managed it locally using that method. My understanding was that the backup function was problematic in 1.7.5 but it seemed to work just fine.

Solved my own problem yet again but figure the answer might be useful to someone out there 😊

You simply use the tags ~np~ and ~/np~ (!) around the wiki syntax you wish to display.

Cheers!
