OOPS!...Now I've done it!

Adding some content to tiki-top_bar.tpl, I forgot to remove some lines and my tiki blew up. eek
I now get this error:

Copy to clipboard
Fatal error: Smarty error: [in tiki-top_bar.tpl line 25]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: display: none; (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 408) in /hsphere/local/home/pjurkoni/bolc.pal2k.com/bolc19rc3/lib/smarty/libs/ Smarty.class.php on line 1083

I edited tiki-top_bar.tpl outside of the tiki and restored it to original and still get the error.

How do I fix my mess? confused

Thanks!

I keep doing silly things like that all the time! And what I do then is, I reFTP just the original version of the file that I was tweaking - it must be the ORIGINAL version, so then it should work as it did before.

Thanks sooeydoo,

After replacing the ORIGINAL tiki-top_bar.tpl, it went back to normal.

I think a combination of what Damian suggested and yours did the trick.

(now, what can I break now?) mrgreen

Sometimes you need to delete all content in /templates_c/* which is a cache directory where the compiled templates get put.

Thanks Damian, I tried that by itself and it did not work.
